Description woz 2012-07-08 07:46:49 UTC
I installed Gimp 1.8.0 and afterwards the Help-application (German).
When installing the help application gimp-help-2-2.6 I got the message
'Gimp 2.6 does not appear to be installed in the selected directory. Continue aniway?'
I continued and something was installed somewhere.
After this I started Gimp and pressed 'Hilfe' (help)
The Gimp help browser opened. On the left side it showed something like a agenda.
On the right side it showed this error message: 'Hilfe Fehler beim Öffnen der Datei: Invalid Argument' (Help error when opening data: invalid argument)
Clicking into the agenda also shows no result.
Without help it is useless to start with Gimp as a beginner.
Please can you fix this or show a circumvention?
Thank you
Wolfgang
