The problem is in Ubuntu 12.04 with xfce desktop.

When OS is loaded the process xsltproc--novalid-nonet-content.xml consumes all available memory (more than 2 GB in my case) making system unusable. The only way to get the system to normal state is to kill the process. It is not starting again afterwards and no visible functionality problems appears.

This looks like a Ubuntu problem.
