GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 678885
No clear way to modify screenshot options
Last modified: 2012-06-26 19:40:59 UTC
When taking a screenshot in the the default, non-interactive mode, the include-pointer dconf key is respected, but the include-border one is not. The problem is that if one wants to take a screenshot without the pointer, one either has to know how to use dconf, or one has to run gnome-screenshot in interactive mode, then disable the mouse pointer, then take the screenshot; and if you want to reset to the default settings, you have to then run in interactive mode a second time, re-enable the mouse cursor, and then take a *second* screenshot (since the dconf values are not changed live, but only when when the user presses the 'take screenshot' button).
Thanks for the report; this has been fixed in 3.5 as part of https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=594141 - closing as a duplicate. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 594141 ***
