Description Allan Day 2012-05-28 17:21:24 UTC
There's a text field there but it's insensitive, and there's no obvious way to make it editable.
Comment 1 Matthias Clasen 2012-05-29 03:28:09 UTC
The text field becomes editable if policykit answers 'yes' when asked whether you have the org.freedesktop.hostname1.set-static-hostname privilege. Our default policy doesn't say 'yes' for this, but 'maybe'...
Comment 2 Allan Day 2012-05-31 09:31:31 UTC
It seems right that not all users can edit this. Would it be possible to have an editable text field for admin users and a plain string for non-admins?

(If not, we could put a small unlock button next to the text field.)
