GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 676640
Major graphics/usability glitch under win 7 64 bit
Last modified: 2012-05-31 08:17:05 UTC
Hello, I've to report that on windows 7 64 bit there are major graphics glitches (stripes while panning the image, overlay controls that become invisible, etc) and major usability glitches (in singlewindow mode I can't click on objects, I've to use the spacebar to perform the click. Plz, fix it...I do love (and pretty much use) this magnificent piece of art...but this way is pretty much unuseable... x.x* Thx guys! Luca
Sorry, post comment add: If U have any questions or else feel free to contact me, I would like to help resolving it (tests, checks, etc). thx again bb
This report contains several issues. There is a separate report about panning problems somewhere, so let's talk about not being able to click things. Are you using a tablet?
What an Idiot I am...quite forgot how world works...sorry! Ok, let's focus on the click issue: Background: I' running on windows 7 64bit, fully updated, gimp is 2.8.0 (downloaded the other day), and i'm using the wacom bamboo pen and touch tablet "Foreground": On singlewindowed mode and multi windowed mode i'm not always able to click on buttons, especially with the wacom bamboo pen and touch table, but happened with mouse too. I've read online that gtk has issues 'bout this, in fact i do think it's all about interaction between so - gtk - gimp. That's quite all for now, I guess. Thnks in advance L
Since the title refers to the graphics glitch, this bug should be marked as a dupe of Bug 674051 - Scrolling zoom in view - incorrect image display https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=674051 And the clicking issue should be spun of into it's own reported bug.
Right, marking as duplicate. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 674051 ***
