Description Jeremy Bicha 2012-05-21 23:40:36 UTC
While gnome-font-viewer makes it easy to install fonts, it doesn't allow uninstalling them.
Comment 1 Allan Day 2013-04-19 14:31:32 UTC
Agree that this would be nice. Would also complement bug 616283.
Comment 2 Kat 2013-08-11 20:45:46 UTC
This would be pretty good, as it is not user friendly to uninstall fonts manually and the font-viewer does not react particularly well to fonts being deleted manually.
Comment 3 Robert Roth 2014-10-25 19:55:55 UTC
@Allan day: Should the Install button turn to Uninstall after a font has been installed, or should we have a separate uninstall button for installed fonts?
Comment 4 Haarek 2016-09-07 17:08:40 UTC
Any updates on this?
Comment 5 GNOME Infrastructure Team 2021-07-05 10:58:09 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-font-viewer/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
