Description William Jon McCann 2012-05-07 19:31:50 UTC
* The "/" seems weird to me
 * It is ellipsized in the overview
 * It isn't easy to "say"
Comment 1 Richard Hughes 2012-05-08 08:09:24 UTC
Got any better ideas? "Add and Remove Software"?
Comment 2 Matthias Clasen 2012-05-09 21:55:30 UTC
Souldn't it be 'Add _or_ Remove...' ?
Comment 3 Allan Day 2012-05-10 09:30:41 UTC
It's the two verbs that seem strange to me. It's way too specific (and inaccurate - there's plenty of other things you can do with it).
Comment 4 Matthias Clasen 2012-05-10 11:10:57 UTC
Looking around its neighborhood in the 'System Tools' Category:

Configuration Viewer
Log File Viewer
Disk Space Analyzer
Power Statistics
Software Update
System Settings

Something like 'Software Installer' or 'Software Installation' would fit much better in there.

Software. https://live.gnome.org/Design/Apps/Software
Comment 6 Allan Day 2012-08-13 08:31:23 UTC
Version 3.5.4 seems to be called "Install Software". You can clearly do more than "install" with this... can we just call it "Software", please?!

Just call the install/remove program 'Software'
