Description Michael Monreal 2012-04-17 09:58:17 UTC
In the past, the right-click context menu for the list view in nautilus was accessible by right-clicking anywhere on one line. For example, you could mark a line with left-click and then open the menu by right clicking even on the far right side. This is no longer possible (you have to right click on the left, where the file name is displayed), I think this is by design to allow access to the folder right click menu?

Anyway, one thing that irritates me is that when a file is selected (left click) and then the selection is right-clicked (not on the file label), this still won't open the file's context menu. I think in this special case, the old behavior still makes sense.

Thanks for the report; I think this makes a lot of sense and I now pushed a fix to git master and gnome-3-4 branches.
