Description André Klapper 2012-02-20 14:27:13 UTC
1. I wanted to fix a typo in http://library.gnome.org/admin/deployment-guide/
2. I could not find this in any git module
3. I asked Shaun where to find this
4. He said it's probably in some ancient git branch that would not get updated on l.g.o anyway
5. I realized that I would waste time
6. I realized that this is a bigger problem

Any chance to get a mapping of modules/products on library.gnome.org to modules and branches on git.gnome.org to identify and clean up at some point?

(PS: Yeah, I love such lists, e.g. I use http://git.gnome.org/repositories.txt to have a complete GNOME git checkout.)

...or to fix some broken links and outdated stuff (Scrollkeeper FTW) on http://developer.gnome.org/gdp-handbook/2.32/gdp-handbook.html ...
Comment 2 Frederic Peters 2012-04-16 13:00:13 UTC
There is a yellow box at the top of the document, pointing to its location.

  Canonical document reference: http://sayamindu.randomink.org/soc/deployment_guide/deployment_guide.html

For the other one, I could certainly add a mapping of documentation id → tarballs.
Comment 3 Frederic Peters 2012-04-16 13:35:13 UTC
Here it is; it adds the tarball name in the sidebar of the index pages (ex: http://developer.gnome.org/gdp-handbook/).

It will take some time to have everything generated anew.
