Description André Klapper 2012-02-17 12:08:56 UTC
Average Joe wants to set up Evolution to use with her/his IMAP account.

In the Receiving dialog, you can choose from these server types:
  * IMAP
  * IMAP+
Both have the same description.
The user has no idea what to choose and is confused.
And I have no idea what to write in the user documentation either.
Comment 1 André Klapper 2012-02-17 12:13:50 UTC
Bonus issue:
"IMAP+" accounts are listed as "imapx" in "Protocol" column. Inconsistent.
Comment 2 Matthew Barnes 2012-02-17 12:39:13 UTC
I'd suggest for now simply not showing "IMAP" anymore for new accounts.
Comment 3 Baptiste Mille-Mathias 2012-02-17 20:49:30 UTC
I guess this is more or less related to bug 665371
Comment 4 André Klapper 2012-02-18 09:26:06 UTC
Yeah, this is either a dup or at least a dependency. :)
