GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 669520
Use a new game screen
Last modified: 2014-05-06 19:45:40 UTC
Use a new game screen that shows the game options at the start of a game. This means that preferences dialogs for game difficulty can be removed and resolves the issue that options can be changed while a game is in progress. See the Sudoku start screen for ideas.
As in the current master version there is no preferences dialog, and there are no options to change, except for the level, which can always be changed at the bottom of the window, I am closing this as obsolete. Feel free to reopen if you disagree, and explaing which settings you would like to see on the new game screen. Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. However, you are using a version that is too old and not supported anymore. GNOME developers are no longer working on that version, so unfortunately there will not be any bug fixes for the version that you use. By upgrading to a newer version of GNOME you could receive bug fixes and new functionality. You may need to upgrade your Linux distribution to obtain a newer version of GNOME. Please feel free to reopen this bug if the problem still occurs with a newer version of GNOME.
