GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 669403
Pan 0.135 - Pan groups panel re-sizes itself and gets stuck in new position.
Last modified: 2018-03-13 18:15:50 UTC
This happens only when building pan with gtk3. I'm using the view where the groups panel is on the left, with headers and body to the left (headers on top). [Note that this is wrongly described in edit-preferences.] Whilst reading postings, the divider between groups panel and the others will jump to the left - the distance being variable. Once there, it cannot be dragged back to the right although it can be dragged further to the left and then back to its new position. Switching to a new group may free-up the divider. Reproducible: Sometimes ---- See downstream bug https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=728311
I saw it was resolved on the mentioned site. Do you know why? This behaviour is only with gtk3 btw.
Yes the downstream bug got closed since we "downgraded" to gtk2 version of pan in opensuse.
Still happens in 0.141
Still happens in 0.142. This is a serious bug, as it renders pan unusable.
This should be fixed with https://git.gnome.org/browse/pan2/commit/?id=ea46a2740064137e2110e884de4deba160205149. Please reopen if the problem persists.
Running pan 0.144 on Ubuntu 17.10: the problem persists.
