Description Bjørn Lie 2012-02-05 12:43:42 UTC
This happens only when building pan with gtk3.

I'm using the view where the groups panel is on the left, with headers and body
to the left (headers on top). [Note that this is wrongly described in
edit-preferences.]

Whilst reading postings, the divider between groups panel and the others will
jump to the left - the distance being variable. Once there, it cannot be
dragged back to the right although it can be dragged further to the left and
then back to its new position.

Switching to a new group may free-up the divider.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Comment 1 Heinrich Müller 2012-04-04 18:03:28 UTC
I saw it was resolved on the mentioned site. Do you know why?
This behaviour is only with gtk3 btw.
Comment 2 Bjørn Lie 2012-04-04 23:45:39 UTC
Yes the downstream bug got closed since we "downgraded" to gtk2 version of pan in opensuse.
Comment 3 Peter Feichtinger 2016-07-29 14:48:41 UTC
Still happens in 0.141
Comment 4 Izak van Langevelde 2017-08-31 14:24:21 UTC
Still happens in 0.142.

This is a serious bug, as it renders pan unusable.
Comment 5 Petr Kovar 2017-09-27 21:43:55 UTC
This should be fixed with https://git.gnome.org/browse/pan2/commit/?id=ea46a2740064137e2110e884de4deba160205149.

Please reopen if the problem persists.
Comment 6 Izak van Langevelde 2018-03-13 16:19:35 UTC
Running pan 0.144 on Ubuntu 17.10: the problem persists.
