Description Markus 2012-02-05 10:43:02 UTC
When using Gnucash it crashes after a few minutes, i.e. it stops working.
Comment 1 Markus 2012-02-05 18:41:00 UTC
I noticed that Gnucash 2.4.8 works fine when I logon as Administrator into Windows 7.
Is this a known issue?
Comment 2 Markus 2012-02-06 19:18:31 UTC
I tried to fix it with downloading and using version 2.4.9.
But the same issue exists.

I have also changed the file utility-report.scm as follows:
;;(use-modules (gnucash main)) ;; FIXME: delete after we finish modularizing.
;;(use-modules (gnucash report hello-world))
;;(use-modules (gnucash report view-column))
;;(use-modules (gnucash report welcome-to-gnucash))

;;(use-modules (gnucash report test-graphing))

;;(re-export gnc:make-welcome-report)

It only runs smoothliy when I am logged in as Administrator.

There is a known issue with 2.4.9 that prevent GnuCash from running a first time as a normal user. This has been fixed in the just released GnuCash 2.4.10. Can you check if that version fixes the problem ?
Comment 4 Markus 2012-02-07 19:40:02 UTC
Hello Geert
Thank you for the new version.
It works fine.

Kind regards,
Markus

Reassign version to 2.4.x so that individual 2.4 versions can be retired.
