Alt-Tab functionality is not available while dragging a file from a nautilus window. My expectation is that I would be able to start a drag operation, bring the drop target window to the front using alt-tab, then drop the file into the target window. What actually happens is that during a drag operation window switcher dialog does not appear when alt-tab is pressed.

This is a regression of one old GNOME 2.x bug that got squashed:

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but we are happy to tell you that the problem has already been fixed. It should be solved in the next software version. You may want to check for a software upgrade.
