actually when we set the status of invisible than the empathy window shows busy status.
there should be a special sign for it different than busy.
or may be we are not be able to select that because if we slick on invisible than busy status is selected, also present in oneiric.

On which account are you experiencing this?
Comment 2 Bilal Shahid 2011-12-14 15:33:15 UTC

Comment 3 Bilal Shahid 2011-12-14 16:35:52 UTC
not a gnome problem i was for time being.
Comment 4 Guillaume Desmottes 2011-12-14 16:42:38 UTC
Ok, I see what the problem is. One account doesn't support invisible (Facebook?) so Mission control fallbacks to Busy instead.

It should fallback to Offline instead for this account and so the status displayed would be right. This is https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=38366
