Description Reda Lazri 2011-12-07 18:33:45 UTC
This happens whenever I try to go back or advance in a video from Megavideo.com, the playback just stops and returns to the beginning.

The same file works fine in any MPlayer-based player.

You'll need to be more specific. How do I reproduce this bug here?
Comment 2 Reda Lazri 2011-12-07 18:42:55 UTC
Well,

-Open a Megavideo.com link in Firefox(with FlashGot plugin installed).
e.g.: http://www.megavideo.com/?v=7YSLQAP4

-Download it using Flashgot.
-Open it in Totem.
-Try to advance(right arrow).
Comment 3 Bastien Nocera 2011-12-19 14:56:16 UTC
You can download the test video with:
quvi --exec "wget %u" http://www.megavideo.com/?v=7YSLQAP4

I could reproduce the problem locally. Other FLV videos are seekable though.
Comment 4 Tim-Philipp Müller 2012-02-18 15:36:34 UTC
Looks like the file is gone. Does anyone still have it and can make it available elsewhere?
Comment 5 Edward Hervey 2012-04-25 11:39:22 UTC
Considering megaupload/megavideo is down, shall we close this ? :)
Comment 6 Bastien Nocera 2012-04-25 11:50:32 UTC
I might still have it available somewhere. Reda, what was it again?
Comment 7 Reda Lazri 2012-04-26 13:30:11 UTC
Sorry, I don't have it either. :( It was a Family Guy episode.
Comment 8 Bastien Nocera 2012-04-30 01:43:59 UTC
Found it on my laptop.

Seeking works here now, at least over HTTP.
