Binary package hint: empathy

Since my update to Oneiric, I can see Empathy 's icon in the notification area and in the message indicators. I was seeing queued messages in the notification area, but I was able to disable them using Empathy > Edit > Preferences. I cannot disable the notification area icon.

This preferences has been added by an Ubuntu patch (as indicators) so shouldn't be reported upstream.
