Description Pierre Ossman 2011-11-14 13:33:41 UTC
I have accumulated quite a bit of PGP keys over the years, and it seems like the new seahorse implementation doesn't handle these amounts properly. It takes over 30 seconds for me to start the application, just showing an empty window in the meantime.

I did a quick strace, and it seems like it is spending a lot of time chatting with gpg2 to get info on the keys. So it seems to be a scalability issue. Oddly, I didn't see any issues of this magnitude whilst still on GNOME 2 (which was just recently).
