Every 2nd time I boot gnome linux the panel does not
appear but the error message: 
Application "panel" has crashed due to a fatal error.
(segmentation fault).

If I then reboot the system completely it generally
work again. 


>How-To-Repeat:

After installing Red Hat 7.2 with the gnome X-server
the crash happens once every second time I reboot
the system.

Please try the latest (1.4.x) version of gnome-core and gnome-libs
from http://download.gnome.org/ Contact me if you need RPMS.
