Ugly Gnome-Shell overview stacking windows from other desktops

After using Gnome-Shell for a while (couldn't find a trigger yet that is causing it), the overview takes windows from other desktops but does not align them nicely nor scale them properly like the windows from the current desktop.

Those windows are usuable, can click on them to activate or move to another desktop. Screen just looks bit ugly with those overlaying windows, sometimes missing window borders and hiding half the desktops overview.

Reseting Gnome-Shell (ALT+F2 r) helps.

Ubuntu 11.10
Gnome-Shell 3.2

Nvidia driver 280.13
Single monitor setup

Almost certainly a dup of bug 661419.
