Custom keyboard shortcut edit window is too small and cannot be resized
Last modified: 2016-07-29 17:11:51 UTC
this report has been filed here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/871994 Package: gnome-control-center 1:3.2.0 "In Keyboard > Shortcuts > Custom Shortcuts, if I add or edit a custom shortcut, the window is tiny and not resizeable (see attached screenshot). Should be much wider initially (to spare the user from unecessary resizing) and resizeable." https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/871994/+attachment/2535422/+files/command-properties.png

@Bastien, association with bug 649242 is wrong. Bug 649242 is about the Keyboard Shortcuts dialog (which is the same as gnome-control-center main window). This bug (661694) is about the Shortcut Properties dialog, see the screen shot here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/871994/+attachment/2535422/+files/command-properties.png
This problem has been fixed in the unstable development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. You may need to upgrade your Linux distribution to obtain that newer version.
