To clearly see this bug, use a sound track with a sudden volume change (like a rock-song with calm intro and then guitars+drums+cymbals)

Put the playing cursor on the transition point (when near-flat waveform becomes a thick black wave) then zoom-in.
At a particular zoom, the waveform will suddenly jump. Now the sound and waveform are out of sync.
