GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 660375
Enhancement Request: Manual entry of next scheduled transaction
Last modified: 2018-06-29 23:01:20 UTC
I would like to select a transaction in the list, right click on it, and find an option to immediately enter the next scheduled instance, or, optionally, to view and edit the next instance before entering it manually. Perhaps there should also be buttons in the toolbar for these actions.
This would actually be very close to an implementation of a general transaction template, as requested in #671245.
Reassign version to 2.4.x so that individual 2.4 versions can be retired.
To me, viewing the newly created transaction (as it happens when a transaction is created from scheduled transaction) is as good as previewing the transaction before actual creation. In the Search Results window, the created transaction can be edited and/or deleted. The only drawback, in comparison, is that the scheduled transaction keeps the Last Created date, which is not editable by the user. (unless you are using an SQL-based book and are willing to modify it through database tools) And this affects the calculation of the next due date.
