Description Ian B. MacDonald 2011-09-26 14:42:29 UTC
I have seen the following message pop up a few times. Today I noticed it is reproducible when I replace my evolution packages while the evolution client is running.

GConf error: Configuration server couldn't be contacted: D-BUS error: Method "Set" with signature "s(ib)" on interface "org.gnome.GConf.Database" doesn't exist.

I can't say for certain it was or was not during upgrade/install scenarios previously but I think I have seen it more often then the installs I have had so far with the 11.10 packages.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Open email client up to Inbox
2) Re-install evolution packages (evolution, evolution-common, evolution-plugins, libevolution)
3) Navigate to a new unread item in the Inbox
4) GConf message appears
