GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 657618
Add introspection.mak
Last modified: 2016-11-12 13:45:13 UTC
This is used by introspection for now, to avoid duplicating boilerplate in Makefile.

Let's not call it Makefile.common, but introspection.mak or gi.mak or whatever, if that's what it is. And afaict some of the paths are core-specific, so it's not really suitable for the libs in -base like that yet. If we do put something into common it should cover core+base libs IMHO.
Okay, I could split into one core specific and one reusable one really suitable for inclusion in core. My intention was to include other things which is not introspection related in there as well, for instance, android targets would be a good candidate.

Please push.
I don't have push permissions any longer, so someone has to push it for me.
Could you make this a patch against common, and show some example usage for it by using it in gstreamer core and/or plugins-base? :)
Comment on attachment 195173 [details] [review] Add introspection.mak Nevermind, it actually is against common and bug #657620 has changes to use it in core
I'll push this once the patch for core is ready
Johan?
Thanks, should have done that a few years ago probably, but now I don't think it's worth touching our setup, autotools is on the way out, just a matter of time :)
