During Boot, the error message appeared.  The Panel is not visible at the bottom of the screen.   
Other functions appear to have come up successfully.  There are no specials (applets) set up on the panel at present.

Boot, log in as root

Please try the latest (1.4.x) version of gnome-core and gnome-libs
from http://download.gnome.org/ Contact me if you need RPMS.
