Screenshot showing the problem

On low resolution (1024 x 600, netbook), it is not possible to left-click on the 'Universal Access' category ('Applications' view). The notification bar seems to superpose the lower area of Gnome shell, making it impossible to click on anything laying behind this bar. Therefore the 'Universal Access' category can only be accessed by scrolling. (But because scrolling does not work with my touchpad, this category is inaccessible for me.)
