Master as of today.

To reproduce, start dbus-monitor followed by dconf-editor.  move the window around a bit, you'll see hundreds/thousands of dbus messages about updating the width/height of the application.  It's worth noting that moving the window usually doesn't result in the width or height changing at all :)  furthermore, it's probably better to do it just once, when the move/resize is complete rather than continuously during the move/resize, though I'm no X/gtk dude so I don't know what hooks you have at your disposal for that.
