Description sam_ 2011-07-07 18:14:01 UTC
Reproducable.
Open system log viewer which incl. Xorg.0.log, boot.log, dmesg, kern.log and syslog.
Xorg.0.log is highlighted but not displayed, instead it displays boot.log and half of dmesg.
Expected: Display the log file which is highlighted on start.

Doesn't happen for me in version 3.6.1 in ubuntu 13.04 x64.
Seems like it has been corrected in newer version?
Comment 3 André Klapper 2020-09-26 09:40:44 UTC
gnome-system-log is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes more than four years ago. Its codebase has been archived at https://gitlab.gnome.org/Archive/gnome-system-log/

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project
to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is being shut down) if anyone takes the
responsibility for active development again.
