Description Cefn Hoile 2011-06-29 23:25:07 UTC
Currently, even when preferences are overridden to introduce a sensible backup behaviour in GEdit, such as periodic backup, this is not respected for files which haven't yet been given a path and name in the filesystem.

If a file has not yet been saved, there is no backup kept.

This should be changed so that the Backup preferences correspond to expected behaviour.
