Menu is displayed behind the message-tray-icon (Qt-Application)

If I'm doing a right klick on an icon in the message-tray of a Qt-Application the menu is displayed behind the icon.

Gtk-Applications are displaying the menu correct above the message-tray-icon (tested with Transmission & Synapse)
Qt-Applications are displaying the menu incorrect behind the message-tray-icon (tested with Transmission & Synapse)

Although 633620 is visible in the screenshot, the real problem here is that Qt is drawing the menu too low; the bottom of the menu ought to be above the top of the icon.

I suspect it's expecting there to be a strut there or something (in which case it would also fail if you had the message tray in an autohide gnome-panel at the bottom of the screen). So this may be NOTGNOME, but not sure right now.

Hi, is this still an issue with the message tray in GNOME Shell 3.6 and newer? Bug #692477 might be related.
