Description Andreas Moog 2011-06-05 15:16:32 UTC
Hi,

the seahorse manpage contains a "See Also" section which points to "info seahorse" for a complete manual, yet there is no texinfo documentation available.

Trivial patch attached.

Cheers,

Andreas

Could the SEE ALSO section point to the on-line help instead?

<soapbox mode=bitter>A proper manual would actually tell you how to use the program, but I guess that's not required by Gnome.</soapbox>

Seriously, though, if there is a way to use seahorse from the command line (for example, add a key to the keyring, or obtain a key from the keyring), it would be vital to document how to do that somewhere. To a command-line user, the manual page should be the natural place to look for this information, if you do not want to bloat the Yelp documentation and/or don't expect power users to read it.

Sadly, there's not really a way to use keyrings from the command line. It's a desirable feature, but not one that anyone has taken the time to patch.

Thanks Andreas, applied your patch to the master branch.
