Description Shaun McCance 2011-05-27 19:32:29 UTC
Go into the activities overview. Type some text. Press Ctrl+A to select all that text, because it's crap and you want to type something else. Type any character.

The search field loses focus, and the placeholder text becomes "xType to search..." (assuming you pressed x). Typing another character clears and focuses, instead of appending to the character you typed.

What version are you testing with? Pretty sure this was fixed in 3.0.1, and it does work for me.
Comment 2 Florian Müllner 2011-05-27 19:42:47 UTC
What version is that? This should have been fixed with bug 636341, which made it into 3.0.1 ...
Comment 3 Shaun McCance 2011-05-27 20:29:20 UTC
Still 3.0.0 on the machine where I noticed the problem. Definitely a dup of bug 636341. Marking as such. Sorry for the noise.
