GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 651082
Gnome Shell doesn't fit on netbook screens
Last modified: 2011-09-19 23:17:30 UTC
Created attachment 188613 [details] Applications Menu I have a netbook that has F15 on it. Most of the overview page has issues because the bottom is cut off or inaccessible. I've attached an examples. How do I get to the Universal Access.. area? What about icons on the bottom row? or accessing the Wikipedia and Google buttons?

Why do you have so many categories? (which are not that useful)
(In reply to comment #5) > Why do you have so many categories? (which are not that useful) Is this a serious question? In any case the entire F15 community would have to answer that one, as to my knowledge the categories are dynamically created by the rpm packages. But then not entirely sure... I just install things I don't design them ;)

a mouse wheel will scroll up and down the categories I have gnome3-shell;sugar-desktop; & KDE installed. This adds "Education" and "Other" Categories. "Universal Access" is partially hidden by the bottom bar shadow and is not mouse clickable. My other bug is The introduction screens for Evolution were the f7 mouse move to get to the <cancel> <foreward> buttons is very non-obvious to a new user on a 10" netbook (ACER ASPIRE ONE N450)
(In reply to comment #9) > My other bug is One bug per report only. Evolution bugs don't belong to gnome-shell reports. Thanks.
