Description Andreas J. Guelzow 2011-05-24 01:43:00 UTC
This is from http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=627675

new gnumeric
enter in A1 to A3: -0.01
format A1 as number with 0 decimals
format A2 as number with 1 decimals
format A3 as number with 2 decimals

A3 shows as expected -0.01

A1 shows -0
A2 shows 0.0

While a case could be made for either showing or not showing the negative sign, it really should be consistent.

Note that the corresponding effect happens for percentages and the debian bug report is really about percentages.
Comment 1 Morten Welinder 2011-05-24 12:08:20 UTC
"-0" is unexpected.
