GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 649603
Nautilus won't launch from shortcut
Last modified: 2011-06-27 20:37:35 UTC
The workaround is to start Nautilus in the terminal with the command nautilus -q - it can then be launched from the shortcut in the normal way
Wrong component.
i guess you configured from gnome-tweak-tool nautilus to manage your desktop to have the icons? this is a side effect because of that since nautilus is running and gnome-shell allows only one instance to be launched

I'm not sure what arguments nautilus is started with in this case, or who would win if it was previously configured to autostart by gnome-tweak-tool. Bit of a mess really.
I have th same bug. Is developers will fix it ?
So this is about 3.0? David, Lionel: See questions in comment 2.
