Description Victor Vargas 2011-04-27 12:43:13 UTC
This report was originally filled at:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/banshee/+bug/769600

For most other media players report the file size and file length times are reported for downloaded files only. For banshee the total file size and total length is reported at the bottom of the window when Podcasts are selected.

I think that this doesn't make sense because people only usually care about the files they've downloaded (for instance I don't care that the total file size of all the podcasts is 10 gigs, I've only downloaded 400 megs of them, so why is the 10 gigs relevant?). At minimum I think both should be reported, downloaded files, and total files available (or make it an option available)

Thanks for the progress with the player, it's coming along well compared to the competition

This can be ignored as you already allow the option to show only downloaded files. Thanks you and apologize for the bad bug report
Comment 2 Joel Madero 2011-05-08 19:06:10 UTC
This can be reopened, Banshee 2 has taken this away and I'm not really sure why
Comment 3 André Klapper 2020-03-17 09:19:42 UTC
Banshee is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes more than three years ago. Its codebase has been archived.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project
to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is being shut down) if anyone takes the
responsibility for active development again.
See https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/issues/264 for more info.
