Description Alistair Buxton 2011-04-16 18:31:11 UTC
Given the following album, with three tracks:

Track 1: Artist A & Artist B
Track 2: Artist A & Artist C
Track 3: Artist A & Artist D

To make it appear as a single album, I must set "Album Artist" to "Artist A" on all the tracks. This works, but:

- The resulting album does not show up when selecting "Artist A" from the artist list.

- Selecting eg "Artist A & Artist B" show the album but only lists track 1.

What's more, if this is the only album you have by "Artist A" then "Artist A" won't show up in the list of artists at all...
Comment 2 Gabriel Burt 2011-04-19 00:29:32 UTC
The "artist browser" lists track artists, not album artists. Bug # 540873 covers adding the ability to make it show album artists instead.
