GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 646410
Missing infrastructure for the new Mallard manual
Last modified: 2011-07-05 07:06:08 UTC
Recently some Mallard pages were added to the Anjuta module, but a matching infrastructure for handling the new *.page files is missing. However, the old *.xml files are still present. What's the target for v3.0? Do we get the new manual or do you keep the old one? If the new one will be preferred, you should change Makefile.am to make sure that we are able to track the translation status here: http://l10n.gnome.org/module/anjuta/
This is on purpose. The old manual is all we have currently and the new manual is just stubs. We will move to the new manual probably for 3.2. But I doesn't make much sense to translate the old manual either because it is totally outdated. I wanted to send a mail to i18n about that but never got around doing it.

Would it be possible to store *.xml and *.page files in different directories? Currently, Damned Lies is fooled by the presence of C/index.page.
@Claude: I don't see a reason to fix it now. I hope this will clear itself up until we come near to any freeze (or string-announce) in the way that the xml files will be dropped. Currently this just tells you: Don't translate anjuta documentation, it's work in progress. I can remove the .page files from the stable branch though if that makes you happy.
The old xml files are now gone in git master and the mallard documentation is build.
