Instead of regular text I see those white lines

When I'm getting a message from  a friend, the text doesn't show, only a white line instead of the text...

Im using Nouvaeu, nv50 series.
I'm using ArchLinux x86_64

hm. Because of the scroll-view fade and nouveau, I'm going to guess it's a dup of 645814
