What were you doing when the application crashed?
I was editing gconf>apps>nautilus.preferences>desktop_is_home_dir and it just broke. Before it, i tryed to edit the side_pane_background_ (set,filename) and it wont change also.
I had rhythmbox (stoped), transmission (uploading), jdownloader (downloading) and gnome-terminal open (they didnt crash) at the moment. I also installed drapes.
It is the first time nautilus broke with me.
