When trying to activate a notification by clicking on it in the overview, the shell crashes with:

St-ERROR **: st_widget_get_theme_node called on the widget [0x5b378d0 StButton.summary-source-button:expanded] which is not in the stage.

Didn't debug it but seems to be related to the recent messageTray / boxpointer changes.

OK, does not seem to be related to the overview and it seems to be indeed caused by http://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-shell/commit/?id=475161f7163055ac0d10393daa3ffc6e0725414e
