Screenshot alert+banshee

When I start Banshee 1.9.5 on Snow Leopard, an alert "Exeption has been thrown by the target of an invocation" pops up. The program freezes so I can't get details. I've made a screenshot where you can see the alert and banshee in the background.

I've got the newest Mono-Framework installed and Banshee 1.8 started without any problems.

Can you expand the details, and copy them here (or attach them)?
Comment 2 Gabriel Burt 2011-03-14 22:35:29 UTC
Ah, sorry missed the "frozen" part -- can you run from a terminal to get the stack trace/details?
Comment 3 Aaron Bockover 2011-03-15 00:11:13 UTC
I am seeing the same. Bust just to clear any misconception - you *do not* need to install Mono before installing Banshee. Banshee has all of its dependencies, including Mono, built into Banshee.app.

Please open a terminal and run this, then paste the output:

(cd /Applications/Banshee.app; Contents/MacOS/Banshee --debug)

I am in charge of the OS X build, but won't be able to dig into this until probably this coming weekend.

Here's the relevant part of that rtf:

I am having this exact issue (same stack trace as shown above in Comment 5) with the beta 1.9.5 download.

Running a fresh install of 10.6.6 on a 2011 13" MacBook Pro.

If this bug won't be fixed, can you please release the working 1.8 version again. My banshee isn't working for over a month now.
Comment 10 Gabriel Burt 2011-05-02 20:06:53 UTC
Older releases are always still available, we don't delete them or anything: http://download.banshee.fm/banshee/stable/1.8.0/
Comment 11 David Nielsen 2012-06-21 22:44:56 UTC
Please grab the latest alpha build from here and see if this issue is fixed:

Tobias, the information wasn't provided yet.

Reporter (joernhartmann), can you test what David said?

Thanks
