Description Matthew Barnes 2011-03-07 00:54:49 UTC
Forwarding from a Fedora bug:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=682594

Description of problem:
I am the recipient of an email that consists of a large number of hyperlinks.
I want to copy all of the hyperlinks to the clipboard so that I can paste these
into a text editor (I am editing an HTML file.) If I select them and
right-click whilst hovering over one of the hyperlinks, the text is de-selected
and my only two context menu options are to "Open Link in Browser" and "Copy
Link Location" (which only copies one link.)

If you select the same text but right-click elsewhere in the document, you see
the full context menu.

If you have selected a large number of items, you should see the full context
menu, irrespective of where you right-click.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
evolution-2.91.6.2-1.fc15.x86_64

How reproducible:
Every time.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to your inbox and open an email in the body of which are some hyperlinks.
2. Select a few lines of the text (including the hyperlinks), with the
intention of copying and pasting them.
3. Right-click with the intention of selecting "Copy" whilst hovering directly
over one of the selected hyperlinks.

Actual results:
Text is de-selected. The context menu only displays items relevant for dealing
with the hyperlink over which you were hovering when you right-clicked (Open in
Browser and Copy Link.)

Expected results:
Text should not be de-selected. The full context menu should appear
irrespective of where you right-click.
