GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 641693
Website: banshee.fm/download should also show development series
Last modified: 2020-03-17 08:49:23 UTC
The website's download page should not only link to the latest stable release (current 1.8.1), but also the latest development release (current 1.9.3). The two places where this should occur are:
Latest Version: 1.8.1 ‒ January 28, 2011
should be:
Latest Stable Version: 1.8.1 ‒ January 28, 2011
Latest Development Version: 1.9.3 ‒ February 2, 2011
And also, within the OS X tab:

Install Banshee 1.8.0

Should be:

Install Banshee 1.8.1 (Stable version)

Install Banshee 1.9.3 (Development version)

Ofcourse, it would also help if up-to-date builds were on the server (there is only 1.8.0, whereas there should be 1.8.1 and 1.9.3)...
Banshee is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes more than three years ago. Its codebase has been archived. Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is being shut down) if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again. See https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/issues/264 for more info.
