glib (I tested 2.27.93) installs both $PREFIX/share/gtk-doc/html/gio/GSettings.html and $PREFIX/share/gtk-doc/html/gio/gsettings.html. This doesn't work on case-insensitive filesystems like the one you have by default on Macintosh computers. Best case, one of these files ends up silently overwriting the other one; worst case, installation fails:

You shouldn't attempt to install files whose names differ only in case.
