Description Cosimo Cecchi 2011-02-04 14:59:44 UTC
It's hard to set the right value for the Delay and Speed values without a test entry directly in the settings panel. We should add one, in a similar way the mouse settings panel does.

I noticed this too, and missed the entry. There used to be one.

I don't think that repeat keys has a future, so this probably isn't worth bothering with. See bug 698412.

Reopen if I've got this wrong, of course.

It's not going to go away, if only for accessibility purposes.
Comment 5 André Klapper 2021-06-09 16:33:49 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new bug report at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-control-center/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
