copy and pasted from gedit to windows app and back to gedit

I am currently using gedit on Windows XP SP3. When I create text files in gedit, the file itself works fine and can be opened without issue by other text editors; however, if I copy/paste from gedit to other windows applications, extra lines are inserted after every carriage return in gedit.

I believe this has to do with the way that the clipboard works for gedit and possibly the insertion of linux style line endings into the text being copied.

Attached are two files with identical text. The first (mgm.sql) was written in gedit and saved. The second (mgm2.sql) is the text from the original copied and pasted into another app, then copied and pasted back into gedit and saved.

Mass-closing of all gedit bugzilla tickets.

Special "code" to find again all those gedit bugzilla tickets that were open before the mass-closing:

2bfe1b0590a78457e1f1a6a90fb975f5878cb60064ccfe1d7db76ca0da52f0f3

By searching the above sha256sum in bugzilla, the gedit contributors can find again the tickets. We may be interested to do so when we work on a specific area of the code, to at least know the known problems and possible enhancements.

We do this mass-closing because bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org.
