GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 640438
axis bounds not saved in .gnumeric format
Last modified: 2011-01-25 16:06:32 UTC
Steps to reproduce the problem : - open the following file http://parrenin.frederic.free.fr/download/bugzilla/Ice-synchros-test2.gnumeric - Change the axis bounds of Y1 to [-60;120] - save the file - close - re-open the file => the axis bounds have not been saved
We would greatly appreciate minimum examples of any problems. THe file in question is 5MB in size. I assume the problem also occurs with smaller files.
It takes a too long time to load for me (not enough RAM, I suppose).
It took 10 minutes to load, and the Y1 bounds are [-60;120]. So what's wrong there?
Sorry for the bad bug report... Please try with this simple file: http://parrenin.frederic.free.fr/download/bugzilla/test.gnumeric For the bug to show up, you need to change the Y1 axis bounds with the mouse in the graph dialog. It is then not persistent when you save/reload the file.
While trying to lighten the first uploaded file, I noticed that gnumeric take a very long time to remove a sheet, even a simple sheet with only unreferenced texts. It seems like it unnecessarily recalcs everything. I consider this as a bug.
Performance is another issue. I see the axis thing, quite strange.
This problem has been fixed in our software repository. The fix will go into the next software release. Thank you for your bug report.
Should we open another bug for the performance issue?
