NB: This is not my bug, I'm just forwarding it here.

On my netbook the battery icon is already colored warningly red when my battery still has about 2 hours remaining! It might be that only a low percentage of power is left, but in absolute terms of time it does not make sense to display 2 hours as a dramatic situation.

I can confirm this issue. For me the indicator becomes red while still having more then two and a half hours remaining. It is very annoying as it works very distracting and makes me constantly check the remaining time.

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all old bug reports in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you can still reproduce this issue in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-power-manager/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
